Intermediate Accountant
At Salt Financial Group, we bring together a talented team of industry experts across specialty areas, including accounting, business advisory, wealth management, financial planning, insurance, and retirement planning. Salt is committed to delivering exceptional service, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our established team as we expand.
We currently have an opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team. The successful applicant will:
Have minimum 3-5 years’ experience in business services accounting, including preparation of tax returns and financials for a range of business and individual clients.
Be CA/CPA Qualified or have commenced the qualification.
Be comfortable following documented procedures and providing input for continuous improvement on a personal and team level.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Be driven to grow and improve with the organisation.
Paraplanner
We currently have an opportunity for a Paraplanner to join our Financial Advice team. The successful applicant will have:
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
Tertiary education in financial planning (ADFP, ADP or similar)
Possess sound technical knowledge and be willing to develop your skills
Thorough understanding of Xplan or similar software
Strong attention to detail and an analytical approach to tasks
Good communication skills and the ability to engage with clients
A genuine passion for achieving best outcomes for clients
Ability to work autonomously and multi-task
Commitment to continuous learning and development
Ability to embrace change and work collaboratively with the team
Your role will entail:
Produce compliant and high-quality advice documents and financial modelling according to licensee standards
Conduct product research and analysis (superannuation, insurance, investments etc)
Liaise with the offshore team in managing the product research process
Review research completed by offshore admin team
Assist advisers with the insurance review process and prepare insurance summaries
Generate insurance quotes, research reports and other relevant documents
Contribute to developing and implementing process improvements
